Melanie Houton is from Portaleen, Malin. Melanie is from a musical family and now living in Belfast she is very active in the Belfast Trad scene. Melanie has won many accolades for her solo fiddle playing and together with her sister Paula they have recorded and performed extensively. They released their debut album ‘A Snapshot in Time’ in 2019.  Melanie is also a member of the SíFiddlers.
